We got McKinley from Southern Comfort Vizslas
in Florida. He was the first one born in a litter of
11 on July 2, 2007. He caught my eye from the
start as a newborn and when I got there he would
come to the side of the ex-pen and raise up
every time I went by. His mother is DC
Lagniappe's Chosen One SH and the sire is FC
Tommy Boy.
He started in the conformation ring at 6 months
and finished his championship at 14 months with
3 majors.
McKinley is now a dual champion. He finished at
the Tennessee Weimaraner trial on Feb. 18,
2011 at 3 1/2 years old. He also has 4 points
towards his AFC. He will be coming home after
the NGDC and we will continue to work on getting
his AFC and work on hunt tests next year. I really
have a good time running him. He was trained
and handled by Jamie Fountain. Jamie has done
a great job getting him ready for me to run.
